"Pretty frustrating customer service experience"
The customer service was disappointing 😕 Everyone I spoke with either seemed rude or took forever to respond, and I kept getting passed around without any clear answers. My couch issue still isn’t fixed, which just makes the whole thing even more frustrating...

I wasn’t very impressed with the return process, to be honest. The exchange took way longer than I expected, and it ended up being kind of annoying to deal with. It did get sorted eventually, but the overall experience could definitely be smoother.

The assembly was a total headache. The instructions were confusing and felt like they skipped a few important steps, which is always fun when you’ve got pieces spread all over the floor. I eventually figured it out, but it took way longer than expected.

I kept waiting for the delivery and it felt like forever, well, maybe not forever, but way longer than it should have. The frustrating part was that I still couldn’t get a clear update on when it would actually arrive.

I went in hoping to find a futon I really liked, but there just wasn’t a whole lot to pick from. Most of them had a similar look, and the colors and styles didn’t really stand out to me. I walked around for a bit, but nothing felt worth taking home.

"The site felt more frustrating than helpful"
I was browsing futonland.com on my phone, the whole experience felt kind of clunky. The pages were a little slow, and using the filters wasn’t as smooth as I expected. I kept having to click around just to compare sizes and prices, which got annoying fast. The information was technically there, but the way it was laid out made it feel harder to find than it should’ve been. Maybe it’s better on a desktop, but on mobile it just came across as frustrating and not very user-friendly.

"Wrong items, then got the policy runaround"
I ordered a futon cover and frame, but what showed up wasn’t what I bought. The cover was the wrong size, and the color didn’t even match what was listed on my receipt, so it wasn’t like I clicked the wrong thing by mistake.
When I contacted customer service, they said they’d “look into it,” but then leaned on their policy like that somehow made it less of their mistake. I still had to deal with packing everything back up, which was such a hassle. Really frustrating experience, and I don’t see myself ordering from them again.

"Not very comfortable"
Ordering was fine and all that, but the futon itself just isn’t comfortable. It’s weirdly too firm in certain spots, and after sleeping on it I keep waking up sore. I thought it might feel better after a few nights, but that didn’t really happen. Wouldn’t buy it again

"Warranty process was more hassle than I expected"
I bought a futon frame and after a few months the hinge started giving me trouble. I kept my order info and took pictures right away because I didn’t want this turning into a back-and-forth with no proof on my end.

I figured the warranty process would be straightforward, but I got passed around and had to send the same photos more than once. The replies were slow, and it never really felt like one person was taking responsibility for getting it handled.
They did eventually respond and offer a fix, but I still would’ve had to pay for parts and shipping, which didn’t feel great for something that failed that soon. I wouldn’t say it’s the worst place to buy from, but I’d definitely be careful and keep all your documentation in case something goes wrong.

"I was excited when this futon first arrived..."
I was excited when this futon first arrived because it looked decent and seemed like it would be a nice little addition. But after only two weeks, the frame cracked, which was super frustrating. Then the cushions started going flat way faster than I expected. I kept trying to convince myself it was fine, but no… it just feels cheap and didn’t hold up at all. Disappointed overall.

"Wish I’d Known the Delivery Would Be This Frustrating"
I’m kind of regretting this purchase a bit just because of how bad the delivery communication was. I kept having to check for updates myself, and even then nothing was clear. The delivery date changed, but I only found out way too late. It’s just frustrating when you spend money on furniture and can’t even get basic info about when it’s actually showing up...

"Pretty good deal overall"
I picked up a futon frame and mattress from futonland after checking maybe 4 or 5 other places, and their price was definitely one of the better ones. The frame feels sturdy enough so far, and the mattress is comfortable for what I paid. Shipping took a bit longer than I hoped, maybe around a week or so, but nothing crazy. Overall, I’d say it was a solid buy for the price.
